Hey I think you can definitely get it up. When do you plan to retake it?
Postponing applying to law schools until next year. Doing a gap year program as a teacher in China. Will be taking my last chance LSAT this coming June 2015... I hope I don't screw up. I need like 10 more points to be "safe"...
May be applying this year as I am taking my LSAT tomorrow (special arrangement), but I need the "right" score to be sure I get in. I fear my URM status may not be enough to compensate for a potentially low LSAT score. And when I mean "low", I mean "below 25% percentile" for the schools I'm looking at. Although I definitely have some unique "softs" that will help me to stand out... I'm afraid I may not even make 150. I want a 154 or better, but there are some chunks of Logical Reasoning that are not quite comprehensible for me. I think what might make things worse is if I get between 150-153. That just places so many questions on how I'm going to make it into a place like Texas Tech University. I'll be taking a diagnostic again today, but after what I saw on grading my first section... things don't look good.
Positive thinking. Relax! Get some rest and go in knowing you're going to crush it. I came up 9 pts between my first and second LSAT.
Hey all, So my third and final LSAT has come to pass and here's how I think I did: "decent". I say this because I didn't think I did fantastic, nor did I do super poorly. I definitely went into the test with my head level on my shoulders and had great focus on the exam, until I hit the games. Holy shit that was difficult! I wasn't expecting 3 complex games and only 1 simple one. Needless to say, I was only able to complete 2 games. The other two went untouched. I feel like I did a bit of blind guessing in a few Logical Reasoning questions, which is another source of doubt for me. I also didn't answer as many Reading Comp questions as I would have liked to. It annoys the heck out of me that I could not achieve my personal goals in all parts of the test. However, I do know that in my prep sessions, I did a lot better on understanding Logical Reasoning sections than in the past, so that is a plus... I also definitely know that I got at least 95% of the Reading Comp questions correct, so there's that.... What do you guys think? Any good chance at going where I want to go? I guesstimated my raw score to be at 68 in a best case scenario. I really hope things will work out and I can continue with the career of my dreams...
My last score was a 146 on the October 2015 LSAT. This was my 3rd and final attempt. My highest score was in February of this year at a 147. I admit that I didn't study for the test with effort. I figured my natural talent would shine. I was dead wrong. I'm still in shock that I will likely need to wait 2 full years before retaking the LSAT. I wanted to start ASAP... Now it seems that is not what God had planned for me. I may apply to Texas Tech University and maybe another school, but prospects look dim. I may be URM, but my GPA is at a 2.72. I truly did need to practice for the LSAT in order to raise my score higher. Damn it. Damn it all. I'm so sad.
Yeah, my LSAT is s*** right now, but that is because it was my first time to take it under real circumstances. I should be good by the next time I take the test.
