Submitted one additional LOR to Georgetown, Michigan, Virginia, & Northwestern in mid-March. I've also sent letters of continuing interest.

Additional info & updates

Georgetown waitlist letter received 12/10/05. I applied to both full-time and part-time. According to an admissions officer, the waitlist means they haven't decided into which program to accept me (if they do accept me). The online status checker changed to decision on 12/5. I withdrew from consideration for the full-time program on 4/13/06, so I'm only waiting for part-time. Rejection letter was dated & postmarked 5/17/06 and received 5/19.

Virginia deferral letter was dated 12/7, postmarked 12/8, and arrived 12/12/05. The online status checker showed decision as of 12/8. Waitlist (general non-resident) notification by email late evening on 3/23/06.

Cornell acceptance by email on 12/15/05. A letter followed 2-3 days later.

Penn rejection letter was dated 12/19/05, postmarked 12/20, and received on 12/22. Oh, well.

GW acceptance by email on 12/28/05. A letter followed 2-3 days later.

Chicago deferral letter was dated 12/29/05, postmarked 12/29, and received 1/3/06. The letter indicated I could interview or provide additional information before a new review of my application. I did interview, sent a thank-you card, and then sent a follow-up letter. My letter crossed in the mail with the rejection letter dated 2/23/06, postmarked 2/24, and received 2/28.

Northwestern email (to check online form) received on 1/12/06.

NYU letter received 02/07/06.

Michigan waitlist email received on 03/03/2006.

Duke waitlist letter received between March 28 and April 2, 2006. The letter was dated and postmarked March 27. Accepted from the waitlist by phone on May 10. I struggled with this decision, but chose not to accept the offer.
