27 years old at time of applications, will be 28 in Fall. After getting kicked out of first uni, parents house got flooded, so I joined the workforce.

Finished my degree with 5-years work experience of concurrent full time and spotty part time jobs, with three of those years also concurrent with finishing school. Four of the work years were in the legal dept. of a NYC agency.

GPA started low due to bad first go-round, and could've risen more, but I got a lot of punitive withdrawals due to work. (CUNY is so cheap, Pell Grants let me basically go for free, so I stupidly overloaded on courses.)

So, I caught that my GPA wasn't sufficient to be considered a "timely" applicant, emailed them about it, and *Texas* fed me some stupid BS about it not being an autoding. Totally stole $35 from me to boost their yield - but at least it was only $35.
