Extra Curricular Information

DISCLAIMER: Numbers and info are skewed a bit to protect anonymity, will correct at end of cycle. I solicited waivers from some schools but most were sent to me via email. I am really looking for a full tuition scholarship as I took out loans to finance my undergraduate degree. I am happy to answer any questions. Good Luck Everyone!!!

*Scholarship are per year*

January 10th - Acceptance email for LSU. Scholarship info will come with acceptance letter in the next few weeks. Baylor Status Checker says that decision has been reached and a letter has been mailed (should get letter in next two weeks).

January 15th - Status checker at Texas Tech says accepted

January 16th - Received an acceptance email from Texas Tech in the morning. Then received an email saying I received a $30,000 scholarship per year and an in state tuition waiver this evening. In state tuition is $22,000. The scholarship is renewable as long as I stay in the top 50%.

January 17th - Received an acceptance email from Tulsa.

January 18th - Received an acceptance letter from the University of Mississippi today. It was just one piece of paper though so I am assuming an acceptance packet will come later. I also received acceptance packages from both LSU and Baylor in the mail today. I received the Chancellor's Scholarship from LSU which will cover 100% tuition ad 100% non-resident fees with top 25% stipulations. At Baylor I also received the Dean's Academic Excellence Full Tuition Scholarship. It is a full tuition scholarship with top 75% stipulations. University of Florida status checker says decision has been made.

I received a full tuition scholarship there and it is renewable with 2.80 GPA, roughly the top 50%. The checker for the University of Indiana says decision has been made and that I should be getting a letter in the mail in the next 7 to 10 business days. January 25th - Today I got an eAAAmail from the University of Miami telling me to check my account. I did and it was an acceptance letter. Scholarship information will come later. The University of Florida sent me a letter inviting me to admitted students weekend. The status checker says that the notice has been issued on the 18th but I still have not gotten an acceptance packet so I am assuming this means that I have been accepted. I was admitted to the University of Syracuse via status checker. My official letter and scholarship information will come in the mail soon.

January 26th - I was accepted to the University of Georgia via status checker. I also received my official acceptance letter from the University of Florida in the mail. It did not receive any scholarship information in it but from what I gather they will be sending that out later.

The University of Miami said that a scholarship letter should be coming in the next week. The University of South Carolina said that I qualified for a merit scholarship and that details will be mailed out at a later date.
