In case any future applicants read this I thought I would share one thing that I felt made a huge difference in my cycle: visiting the schools. For the top three schools I was accepted to or put on the WL...UT, Vandy, and NU (WL)...I visited all three in person. Or, in the case of NU, I did an in person interview. Now, I have no way of really knowing if this made a difference, but I am of the opinion that it did. Especially in the case of UT and Vandy, I was able to visit in late March and really show interest after no movement on my application for almost 12 weeks. In both instances I was accepted less than 10 days after visiting. Given that these are both ranked higher than Wash U, I think the reason I was accepted to these two schools and waitlisted at WUSL may be that I showed the interest by visiting. Just a thought. Best of luck to anyone who looks at this page with my stats :)
