I made my decision. UVA here I come!!!! I am really happy, this whole cycle turned out amazingly well...better than I ever expected! I wish everyone else the best of luck and I can't wait to meet future UVA students.

You're sure to see some love from one of those schools. Any reason you didn't apply to Penn, Chicago, Cornell or Mich? I would suggest it.

on your acceptances! That does sound like a very tough decision- I don't envy you it. Out of curiosity, what does your husband do that would make the Berkeley area preferable to Charlottesville? Regardless, good luck in choosing amongst some wonderful options!

He is an entrepreneur. He could stay with his current company ( a tech start-up) as a satellite employee in CA, but not in VA. He is not completely against starting something fresh, but he just doesn't see Charlottesville as a good city at this point in his career. The decision is kind of a sore point for us right now. $150,000 is a lot to turn down.
