Hey, im somewhat surprised how my file is going too. Guess just never know what admissions committees are thinking from school to school. Like the NIU WL def caught me off guard, Denver was big stretch for me but just had to try
I'm on your page because I saw your numbers and saw you were rejected at Kent (my number 1). I'm glad you got in somewhere too, but quite surprised at your record here. My numbers dictate a rejection at most schools, but I'm 3-0 right now. Granted the schools I got into aren't top notch, but I think with my numbers, it was the rest of my application package that got me in...maybe that's what was keeping you from your number one, no? Anyway, I sincerely wish you the best of luck on your cycle.
By the way, how did Kent send you notice? My status changed to a message that says it's in "ongoing review". My optimism was telling me that that means I passed "phase one" of the adcom review...lol
Hey, congrats on your Acceptances, youre 159 is def a big help to you over me. Also Kent rightfully so should be your #1, heard great things from few ppl I know there. How did the Hamline and St. Thomas status checkers change? Did they put in any sort of special wording or was it decision rendered, plus an email in the listing? Leaning more towards one school vs. another yet?
Hamline emailed me and St Thomas just changed the status checker to accepted plus brief paragraph saying congrats, got packet today. No $ tho unfortunately. As far as UST and Hamline, the $ from Hamline is nice, but I visited both and fell in love with UST so thats really weighing me hard.
Has western sent you any word on scholarship money????
Western State called me to tell me my acceptance but said scholarship info comes separate from separate committee a week or two later so still waitin on that. As far as the chicago schools, I applied FT to them along with all my other apps
Hey! they finally got back to me mar 26 (applied 10/6) with an email saying waitlist(changed status same day) ...def was bummed about it. I would think they would get back to you real soon given the deposit is week and half away. Gluck, maybe it will go better for you than it did for me.
I'm totally surprised by some of your rejections. Especially as a student athlete. I thought both Stetson and Marquette would be Waitlist minimums for you.
