Rejected from UT. Not surprised and not bummed. I only sent in 1 LOR (because I was waiting on the other and impatient) and I did not send in the optional "Why Texas" essay they emailed asking me for to help them decide. I had all ready gotten into USC, and would prefer to go to school in LA.

Woke up to find that I got into UCHICAGO last night! In shock. Beyond ecstatic. I thought I'd blown the interview.

Got into Berkeley! This was my original dream school. I'm thrilled to have gotten in. Serious contender.

On "hold" and reserve list at Columbia and Northwestern respectively as of today. Considering it "waitlisted".

HOLY COW I got waitlisted at Harvard! I accepted the spot immediately.

Went ahead and accepted the spot Columbia had offered me as well since it is ranked so well and in NY. However, since Columbia is tied with UChicago, I'm less motivated for Columbia.
