11/29 - Turned in all my apps (a lot of reach schools); now time to play the waiting game
11/30 - Decided to add Georgetown to the list

12/5 - first status update for Fordham via status checker
12/9 - first status update for Georgetown via status checker
12/12 - first status update for Berkeley via status checker
12/14 - second status update for Georgetown via status checker
12/16 - second status update for Fordham via status checker
12/19 - third status update for Georgetown via status checker
12/21 - "Under Review" at Harvard (eek!)
12/22 - received email from Berkeley that my file is now under review (still says 12/12 on the status checker)
12/24 - Received Georgetown acceptance in the mail today! Feels amazing to have an acceptance, especially at a T-14!! The letter is dated 12/19 and has a handwritten note from Dean Cornblatt!

1/4 - Finally complete and under review at Michigan and NYU
1/5 - Email from Harvard that my app is complete (a little confused since the status checker said I went under review on 12/21??).
1/6 - Accepted at Northwestern via email at 4pmEST!!! So happy!
1/10 - Received a fee waiver email from Duke this morning. If I had received it earlier, I definitely would have applied....
1/12 - Accepted at NYU via phone call at 3pm!!!! Seems too good to be true!
1/19 - In at Fordham via email around 5pm!
1/20 - $10K/year merit scholarship email from Fordham
1/24 - Accepted at Emory via mail! Also received my purple acceptance envelope from NYU! Both letters had a nice handwritten note from the Deans!! So happy!
1/27 - Finally went "Under Review" on status checker for Penn

2/16 - Online status checker for Berkeley says my app is under faculty review; date changed to 2/16 from 12/12. Received email from Berkeley with the same news at 6pmEST. Decision to come around March 9.
2/17 - Emory scholarship came in the mail; $69K over 3 years
2/20 - waitlisted at UVA via email :(
2/22 - Stanford online status changed to "Decision sent"....expecting bad news in the mail soon
2/24 - Rejected from Harvard via email - sad but expected; rejected from Stanford via snail mail. My first and second rejection on the same day ~ ouch

3/5 - Status checker date update for Penn from 1/27 to 3/5
3/8 - Rejected at Berkeley via status checker
3/9 - waitlisted at Penn via email :(
3/13 - new US News Week rankings are out - some interesting changes.... also sent out my LOCI for Penn
3/22 - Finally first date change on status checker for Cornell (last dated 12/23)
3/23 - waitlisted at Michigan via email :/
3/26 - waitlisted at UCLA via email

4/2 - withdrew from UCLA waitlist
4/3 - withdrew from Fordham ($$ wasn't enough for me to choose it over the other schools)
4/9 - second status update for Cornell on status checker
4/10 - third status update for Cornell on status checker
4/13 - $15k/year scholarship offer from Georgetown!!!!! However the deadline to accept is 4/17 (yikes!)
4/16 - withdrew from Emory; also received $15k/year scholarship offer from Northwestern!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!
4/18 - withdrew from Georgetown; decision is down to Northwestern or NYU
4/23 - ending my cycle with an acceptance from Cornell! I wonder what took so long?
4/30 - withdrawn from Cornell and Northwestern.
5/3 - Turning in my deposit for NYU!

6/20 - Received an email regarding the timeline for UVA waitlist decisions, and decided to withdraw.
6/27 - Accepted to Michigan off the waitlist via phone call!! And $18K a year in scholarships!!! I thought my decision was made but now its up in the air again ~ still so happy!
6/28 - I emailed Penn to withdraw from their waitlist - they came back with an acceptance offer and a scholly! What?!?! This has been a crazy couple of days.

7/18 - Withdrew from NYU. Officially going to Penn! SO excited
