some applications are for part-time and some are for full-time as I am exploring both options

invited to apply for scholarship at FSU

FSU law scholarship consideration is not automatic with the application apparently, but select applicants are given an invitation to apply for those scholarships (according to the email I received today).

Grats on FSU. I app'd to UF and am twiddling my thumbs. You going to withdraw from UF and go for FSU or wait and see? I ask because we have similar numbers and I did not apply to FSU (but perhaps I should?). Thanks for your time and grats again!

Thanks!

Honestly, I am considering all options at this point. I think both schools have outstanding law programs and I am in-state. I will just look at all offers side by side (should I get accepted to UF) and make a decision. I just received notice that I am in comparative review for UF (as of last week). I know that it could stay in that status for a couple of months, so I'm not checking every single day anymore. Where else did you apply?

My scholarship info for Mitchell Hamline is for the Hybrid JD program that only has 96 seats.

Florida, Texas, Oklahoma

I just hit comparative review for UF today. I applied to placed in Texas and Oklahoma. I really like Florida and would practice there, but I figured finding a job would be easiest with the top school in the state. I also have limited funds and I can't afford any more apps than I did, so I guess I will see what happens with the apps I have in. All are listed on my profile page here. I am still trying to figure out how to balance debt load (scholarship size and total cost of attendance) against job prospects and regional school ranking. Grats on UF by the way! Also, thanks for your response.

Thanks!

Yes, taking on massive amounts of debt for law school is no longer a wise thing to do in most cases. I'm with you on that. Thanks for the congratulations. Good luck on UF!
