Well, I guess that's it. The cycle went more or less exactly the way I would have predicted based on previous ones. One interesting thing to note is that it doesn't seem like the drop in applicants has made this particular cycle any more favorable for splitters -- If anything, it looks like a lot of schools are wary of mid 170s kids, and a few people with really solid stats, as of the end of February, have yet to get any reasonable offers. As to whether that will change at all when we move into waitlist season, who knows.
