Additional info & updates

It might help, but it seems that my being in a M.A. program has helped my applications. I say this because my undergraduate institute is not the best ever, but my graduate school is better.

*All Scholarships are per year.

12/18 - I was worried about MSU not giving me any money because I did not get a phone call like everyone else. Instead I got a letter, which is lame compared to the phone call. Thats right, I envy those who got the phone call.

12/29 - Hamline called and said I was accepted. The call also said my acceptance letter is in the mail.

1/4 - Wayne State sent me an acceptance letter and full ride offer in the mail.

1/6 - Quinnipiac sent me an acceptance e-mail and said letter was in the mail.

1/9 - Got my acceptance letter from Quinnipiac today with a scholarship offer. I am excited because I really like the region and because of that am strongly considering QU.

1/20 - Today I received evidence that Marquette School of Law is very quick about getting through their applications. I also received evidence that Case Western is very slow.

1/22 - Received an acceptance letter from IU - Indianapolis today, which is awesome! No word on any scholarships, but I really don't care since this is my number two choice of schools.
Addition: I called my parents house to say, "Hi" and my dad tells me that I have gotten into Univ. Toledo and Seton Hall. I am baffled as to why they would send that stuff to my parents house, but oh well.

1/23 - Got into UC law via e-mail!

2/2 - Called my parents house again. This time my dad told me that I got a Dean's Scholarship at Hamline, which I think is cool. Moreover, UC sent me my letter.

2/3 - Received an acceptance letter from Marquette Law today. I am excited because my girlfriend can probably find a job in Milwaukee.

2/7 - Accepted today to University at Buffalo; however, no money. That makes me a sad panda.

2/17 - Univ. Cinci sent a letter to my parents house, which arrived today, and I got a $3000.00-a-year scholarship!

2/18 - I have been curious about Univ. S. Carolina, so I sent them an e-mail asking about the status of my application. The e-mail I received was very nice and said that the committee had voted to hold my application for a second review. For everyone else waiting, this might be the case for you as well.

2/23 - Received a letter from Marquette today saying that I have been awarded a $ 4,000-a-year scholarship, which is renewable each year contingent upon my continued enrollment.

2/28 - Got into SLU today with a Dean's Scholarship of $17,000 a year. This definitely moves them up on my list.

3/3 - I got an e-mail from Indianapolis stating that I have been awarded an "out of state excellence" scholarship in the amount of $20,000 a year. I am really pumped about this considering they are my second choice.

3/31 - I got e-mails today from Case and U. S. Carolina. I am in at both, but so far without money. No biggie because I am pretty sure my three for the next month will be IU - Indy, Wayne and Cinci.

3/31 - I got an e-mail about an hour or two later from Case saying I got a $5, 000 scholarship for international human rights.

4/3 - Got an envelop from Univ. S. Carolina today saying I am in and that I got the out of state tuition scholarship. WooHoo, but man is USC F'ing slow.

4/24 - IU - Indy upped my out of state merit scholarship by $5,000. Thats cool, but it is still really expensive even considering the scholarship amount.

How long did your status checker for IU-Indy say in review?
