got my first letter of acceptance way sooner than I was expecting. GWU responded within 2 weeks and even complimented my personal statement! hopefully I'll hear back from one or two others before Christmas to bring some holiday cheer :)

accepted by UCLA with $60k over three years

rejected by Northwestern, hopefully not an indicator of how the other t-14 schools will treat me!

waitlisted at Chicago and Virginia, hopefully they'll get back with a final decision before I've already made mine. I submitted an extra essay to Chicago that will hopefully affect the decision positively.

another waitlist decision (is that an oxymoron?), Columbia this time. at least I'm not getting turned down point blank!

application being held for review at Harvard, waitlisted at UPenn. looks like I may not be making a final law school decision until August :(
