Extra Curricular Information

No special softs. Finishing up an MA in Philosophy soon. Teach introductory classes at the undergraduate level.

5/6/11 - Just had my JR1. Did not know it was coming. HLS sent me an e-mail yesterday, but I hadn't checked my e-mail in the past day. Hope it went well.

4/27/11 - Finally heard from UCLA. Accepted through e-mail. Irrelevant.

4/23/11 - Sent in my deposit to Michigan. Really excited.

4/21/11 - Waitlisted at Harvard.

4/9/11 - Rejected at Yale. Not surprising.

3/25/11 - I either want to end up in Detroit or NYC, so it looks like Michigan is gonna be the choice here (unless Harvard or Yale comes through with something crazy...like an offer of admittance).

3/25/11 - Withdrew from Chicago's waitlist.

3/24/11 - Waitlisted at Chicago through e-mail. Likely to withdraw as I would prefer to attend either Columbia or NYU at sticker as opposed to Chicago at sticker. Gonna sleep on it for a couple days though.

3/22/11 - Withdrew from UVA waitlist and from USC.

3/22/11 - Same day I received bad news from Harvard, I received great news from Columbia. In through e-mail.

3/22/11 - Held at Harvard.

3/21/11 - Duke scholarship offer. 54,000 over three years.

3/9/11 - Waitlisted at UVA through e-mail. Not surprising as I am a non-resident who didn't tailor my app in any way to UVA. Feel like a LOCI would get me in, but I am likely to withdraw from the waitlist instead.

3/4/11 - In at USC through e-mail.

2/25/11 - In at Penn (telephone call from Dean Post).

2/23/11 - Withdrew from consideration at Northwestern.

2/22/11 - In at NYU (able to sign into admitted students site).

2/21/11 - Scholars in Law Award from WUSTL. 135,000 over three years.

2/18/11 - Dean's Scholarship at Michigan. 67,500 over the three years.

2/17/11 - Held at Northwestern. Quite surprising, honestly. I was expecting a clear ding due to my lack of work experience.

2/17/11 - NYU decision letter sent. Folks at TLS think this is a good sign (given the timing). We'll see.

2/15/11 - Rejected at Boalt. Also withdrew myself from the preferred waitlist at Georgetown.

2/14/11 - Accepted at WUSTL. Being considered for their Scholars in Law Awards.

2/11/11 - Accepted at Michigan through snail mail. Scholarship info should be coming within a week or two. My numbers seem to make a scholarship of between 15k and 20k per year likely.

2/4/11 - Preferred Waitlist at Georgetown. Possible Yield Protection. I think I would get in if I sent in a LOCI. Georgetown is not too high on my list though, so I will see how my other applications do before I decide whether to send in a letter.

2/1/11 - Accepted at Duke. Need to fill out more information before I potentially receive a scholarship offer.

1/28/11 - Accepted at Illinois. Got a full tuition scholarship. Hopefully this is a good sign for things to come.

1/12/11 - Finished all of my apps between 12-20 and 1-12. Expect to hear from Duke first as I am priority track.

You may as well keep your profile nonexistent until you upload some numbers, because currently it serves no purpose and helps no one.

It will help future cycles. But I am currently using it as my own way of sorting all the various offers/scholarships.
