I had some leadership positions in undergrad and was very involved in a few organizations.
I'm a few years out of school but only had one job that I consider substantive.
One recommendation was solid, but I think my other recommendation was very strong.
I wrote a diversity statement about how some events in my past gave me a unique perspective and a pretty strong connection to the area.
I don't think my PS was out of this world, just solid.
