Extra Curricular Information

Terrible start to college. REsponsibilities/obligations forced me to leave. REturned after seven years. Became fixture on Dean's list. Worked throughout, president of student org, community involvement, and single parent.

Took practice LSAT and did much better. After a prep course scores dropped. Not too happy with those scores but still hopeful.

complications with undergrad institution led to a very late start on submitting apps. All apps submitted at end of cycle.

Update-

I am completely surprised and flattered at some of the schools that added me to the wait list, and surpised by the rejection of others-American. Anyhow, I am recently married and my husband (the bread winner) is taking a job in Memphis, so it seems that will be where I'm heading. They have been very accomodating, even created a scholarship!

Additional info & updates

most apps were submitted later than I would have liked.

FIRST RESPONSE!-IU Indy was one of the first submitted. Notified of acceptance yesterday. 19k renewable.

Acceptance to Memphis-My husband may be taking a job there-with a nearly full ride.

Acceptance to Catholic! I absolutely love their programs. 12.5k renewable. doesn't seem like much given the 45k tuition. Looking further into outside scholarships.

Acceptance to W&L! Humbled and honored. 15k renewable. again, very high tuition--->lots of debt. Gotta figure out if the rank justifies the debt, when I could go to IU McKinney for nearly free.

Decisions....

Will you be attending IU?

Go for the best ranked if feasible.

Definitely go for W&L, high ranked T1 school when IU-Indianapolis may probably drop down to T3 next year from it's current #98.
