Additional info & updates

11/30 In GWU! It is not my dream school but still good to hear that I AM going to law school!! With $105,000 scholarship! So thrilled I can't go back to sleep. X)

12/2 In BC! I hope to get some scholarship but it seems like I have to wait and see until December. :)

12/12 Received a packet from U of Minnesota with a big 'Congratulations!' printed on it. The status checker says the decision was made in Dec. 1st. I also found out through the status checker that I'm in Notre Dame, which was decided in 8th of this month, so probably another exciting packet is on the way!

1/11 Invitation from BU to video interview. (Seems like they interview international applicants.)
Also, rejection from UCLA. :(

1/22 Rejection snail mail from Michigan.

1/24 In Emory! (yay) Good to hear a good news after rejections in a row. :)

1/25 Interview with BU. Went for only 15 minutes. I received three questions and asked two.

3/9 Waitlisted by USC?! Unbelievable.

Georgetown Scholarship Money

When did you hear about your Georgetown scholarship money? Upon acceptance or at a later date? Did you apply for this scholarship money or were you automatically considered?

Sorry, it was GW not GT. My mistake. I haven't heard anything from Georgetown yet.

I'm also an applicant from Seoul with very similar numbers except that my lsat is a little lower. It seems that most ppl with numbers like yours (165lsat and high gap) have been admitted at GT but you seem to be an exception. Do you have any clues as to why you might have been rejected?

Well, I heard law schools tend to weigh less on GPA and weigh more on LSAT score if you're an international applicant. That being said my lsat was lower than their median, so I knew it would be a slim chance. Also I don't have any full-tine work experience. Hope this helps.
