Have had two finance internships at large firms.

Dean's list all 4 years, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society member, active in sorority.

1/10/08- Received thick letter sized envelope from Mizzou in the mail- first acceptance letter! I heard back from them much more quickly than I thought I would.

1/23/08- Got a message on my cell phone saying I've been accepted to Loyola

1/24/08- Received a packed from DePaul- I'm in with a $8000 per year scholarship (24k total). Hmmmm I kind of expected more from them :(

1/28/08- Email from University of Illinois saying I am being placed in the "HOLD" category, and will be given a "close second look" later on.

1/28/08- Phone call from Admissions Officer at University of Kansas telling me I am admitted.

1/30/08- Got an email from SLU inviting me to apply for the 1843 Full Tuition Scholarship (I have not heard back from them whether I have been accepted yet).

1/31/08- Received an email saying I was accepted to Iowa (the top ranked school on my list)! Yayyyy

2/1/08- Acceptance packet from SLU, nomination for 1843 scholarship. Also, got admission letter from KU with scholarship information- $12,500 the first year, and $5000 the second year. (What about the third???)

2/6/08- Letter from Loyola finally arrived, they are offering $8000 per year so long as I maintain a 3.0 gradepoint.

2/7/08- Received a letter from Wisconsin- waitlist.

2/8/08- Scholarship letter from Mizzou-- $6000 a year!! Yay, with in-state tuition, Mizzou would cost me less than $30K for the full three years :)

2/15/08- Acceptance letter from Marquette, now I'm only waiting to hear from the big names!

2/20/08- Received scholarship information from Marquette, $16,000 per year.

2/29/08- Received a letter from SLU informing me that although I am not a finalist for the 1843 scholarship, I have been awarded a $63,000 scholarship (21K per year, contingent on getting a 2.0 or higher). Hmmm this makes my decision more interesting.

3/4/08- Email from Indiana saying that they need to push back their admissions timetable because of the increase in applications that they have received, I will be given a final decision by April 15. Not very helpful considering the deposit for Iowa is due 4/1, and Mizzou is due 4/4.

3/8/08- Waitlist letter from American, no shocker.

3/24/08- Arrived home from vacation to hear that I was waitlisted at William and Mary- a nice surprise considering I was sure I would be rejected.

4/8/08- University of Illinois status checker changed to waitlist.
