11/10/11-- I found out through email & status checker at a computer lab that I got waitlisted from Washington & Lee. It was a bummer, but I consoled myself with the fact that I didn't get outright rejected and got over it. This waitlist decision was made with my 1st October LSAT score of 161.

12/07/11-- I found out through my status checker while I was at Barnes & Noble that I got admitted into University of Iowa's College of Law. I am SO SO HAPPY and relieved!!! This acceptance decision was made with my 1st October LSAT score of 161.

1/09/12-- I found out through my email that I did not get admitted into UC Berkeley's School of Law. It's my first rejection of the cycle and although I would have been ecstatic if I had gotten in, I am not very upset that I did not get admitted. Since UC Berkeley takes the average of LSAT scores if taken multiple times, mine would have played out to a 163 which is 4 points below their median LSAT of 167.

1/10/12-- 2 rejections in a row. I'm fuming, though I don't think it's all because I got rejected from GWU. I need my space.

1/13/12-- Washington & Lee decided to take me off the waitlist and accept me due to my December LSAT score of 165. I was notified by email. Yayy!

1/20/12-- Washington & Lee mailed my scholarship information this past Monday, and it was received today (Friday). My Dad informed me I'll be receiving $40,000 per year with a 3.25 GPA stipulation, which is GREAT news!!! I'm so happy =D Apparently, 60% of the class maintains a 3.25 or above, so it is within my reach.

1/31/12-- So bummed out. Waitlisted at University of Minnesota. Found out through my status screen. Waited the entire 14 weeks for this decision =/ I was really hoping I'd get admitted. It's the first law school I applied to and was a top choice for me. I wish I wasn't at work right now, cause I need some time alone to take this in.

2/03/12-- Been offered a place on the waitlist at University of Texas Austin. Better decision than I expected from this law school, so I'm not bothered.

2/14/12-- Found out via email that I have been denied admissions at UVA. Oh well.

2/28/12-- Found out through email that I got accepted into Indiana University Maurer School of Law with a $30,000 scholarship total for the three years. Acceptances are always good, though this school is definitely not amongst my top choices.

2/28/12-- Found out through email that my application to UCLA has been declined. Not upset by it so it's all good.

3/08/12-- Found out through email that I got rejected from BU. Was expecting to be waitlisted at the least, but I guess not. Yes, I am a teeny bit disappointed.

3/16/12-- Got rejected from UPenn. What a shocker.

4/05/12-- Vanderbilt is the 7th school to waitlist me. Does everyone else get waitlisted this much? They snail mailed the decision on 3/29/12 and my Dad received it today and let me know of the waitlist decision through text. Wish he had asked permission before opening the mail. It must have been addressed to me after all.

4/05/12-- Withdrew my application from Indiana--Bloomington at last after learning that the Admissions Office cannot increase my scholarship amount. I really did fall in love with this school. It's too bad...

7/25/12-- I got accepted off the waitlist at Emory today. I made all the arrangements to withdraw from W&L and attend Emory instead because it has an entire program for students interested in IP Law like me. I really hope I make the best of this sudden turn of events.
