Additional info & updates

2/18 - Accepted to DU via email. Status checker changed to "Decision Processed" yesterday. 1st one, woohoo!

3/02 - Accepted via frighteningly small envelope to UConn. This makes me smile, I'd be very happy to attend UConn.

3/20 - Received small letter notifying me I was eligible to receive in-state tuition for my first year at UConn, a difference of over 20k. This is spectacular news! UConn making a play!

3/24 - Waitlisted at Madison, via email. I was expecting this, since basically everyone with my numbers has been. Their email implied that if they received a letter indicating my desire to attend, there was a strong chance I'd be admitted. Again, I believe this has been the case for most with my numbers. Some thought is required here. Blurg...

4/6 - Received a "revised" financial aid package from UConn, which includes in-state tuition during first year ($21,720) and an additional renewable $10k. Wow, that is a lot of money.

4/7 - Waitlisted at Colorado.

4/10 - Withdrew from UW and Denver. Ultimately, I would not choose either of them over UConn.

4/28 - Rejected via small envelope to BU. I saw it coming, but it still hurts. Sigh...

6/25 - In via email to Colorado. I need to do some serious thinking, there are a lot of factors besides the schools themselves involved...

6/30 - Decided to go with CU Boulder. After 7 months, my cycle is finally over. Phew. It was a tough decision, and I really liked both UConn and Colorado, but ultimately personal factors swayed me to CU. I am relieved it's all over, and excited to begin in the fall. I hope this profile is helpful to other applicants in the future. :)
