Extra Curricular Information

Part-time work experience (education) and business internship during college. Solid PS. Solid letters. I'd consider myself to have average to below average softs.

Additional info & updates

My primary aim is to work in New England in some form following graduation.

In no particular order.....

Duke: priority reserved after using the Priority Track 10 day guaranteed decision process.

WUSTL: had an informal phone interview and admitted the following day.

UVA: solicited by Anne Richard for a phone call, and was admitted.

BC: Admitted via email.

BU: Missed the call and later read the status checker, where it said "Decision Made" and had an acceptance header.

UNH: Full tuition with a 3.0 stip. They say 56% of the class satisfies it.

Michigan: Very thorough waitlist email talking about impressive credentials and discussing the wild app cycle that they're contending with.

I believe that my cycle has been boosted by solid work experience and other extra curricular activities. I was not expecting to be admitted to NYU or Penn, and I don't think I would be admitted to these schools without above average softs. If I accepted to Columbia then it would definitely be fair to say I am overperforming on my numbers but I don't think any of my decisions are too far away from the school's medians.
