Applied to Michigan just to see what happened. I probably will not be able to go if I don't get into one of the two Mississippi law schools.
Scholarship at Michigan is a full tuition, king scholar scholarship, 3.5 stipulation for continuance.
Been complete and ready for review at MC since 12/14 according to status checker.

1/18: Went into "pre-evaluation" at Ole Miss on 11/30 and have been in "committee review" since 1/2 according to status checker.

1/24 Accepted to Mississippi College via status checker and snail mail. Awaiting scholarship information.

2/1 no decision change but seat deposit numbers suddenly showed up on my Ole Miss status checker.

2/2 very odd. now seat deposit numbers are gone and there is a new message at the top of my Ole Miss status checker that says your application is still under review.

2/10 full tuition scholarship to MC via phone call and snail mail! Not sure of the actual value so I picked a number at random. Ole Miss status checker: decision letter mailed.

2/13 accepted to Ole Miss via snail mail.

2/14 Admission packet from Ole Miss via snail mail.

2/17 (via email) full tuition plus stipend to Ole Miss (16,000 per year)!!!!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!

Will definitely be going to Ole Miss with a full scholarship offer on the table. I really want the Criminal Law Certificate from Ole Miss. The Lord has blessed me with a great LSAT score and UGPA, and saw fit to bless me with such an amazing scholarship to a great law school. "The Lord has promised good to me. His Word my hope secures!"

I had the same thing happen on my Ole Miss status checker regarding the seat deposit thing. I wonder what that means, if anything? Good luck and God Bless.

It probably means that you were accepted. That's a standard law school procedure when accepted. That is, if actual dollar amounts were placed.
