1/30: Received duplicate "go check your status on our online status checker" e-mail from Fordham from a personal e-mail address, rather than the generic admissions address.

Had a minor heart attack, thinking that an acceptance e-mail would probably look a little different.

Logged in to see that nothing on my status page had changed. However, I did, in fact, confirm the existence of the status checker system and that my password is operational.

1/31: Received priority mail envelope with acceptance letter and graduate fellowship offer. SO happy to have #1 come in a yes!

2/20: Received e-mail from UCLA saying that my application is complete. It stated that they had received a record number of applicants, so they could not say when a decision would be rendered. They will be sure to notify everyone by the end of May.

William & Mary requires a commitment by April 15...

2/27: My aunt (and next-door neighbor) came over with some misdirected mail...a great big envelope from UT. Woo hoo!

3/4: Status checker at Berkeley said that a decision was mailed 3/3, also they regret to inform me...
Not surprising, but still disappointing.

3/4: E-mail from UVA. Again, not shocking...but sad.

3/11: Big white envelope from Seton Hall with a full tuition waiver!

3/19: Scholarship notification from UT!

Sorry, I missed a whole lot of stuff in the middle!

4/17: Received a call from UCLA with an offer of admission!
