10/12/08- Accepted at Duke!! And not Priority Track, so I wasn't expecting it this soon
10/31/08- Happy Halloween! Have been emailing with the admissions office at Cornell and finally heard back today that my DC is in and my file is complete- so looks like I'll make the EA deadline after all :)
12/11/08- In at Cornell! Called since status checker had been at "decision" since 12/02 and hadn't heard anything (turns out it was sent to the wrong address)- admissions rep was super nice on the phone, said I've been accepted with invite to apply for Dean's Scholarship! wahoo!
12/17/08- Got email congratulating me on my acceptance to Georgetown which I "already recieved in the mail"... I went to decision on 11/24, guess they also sent it to the wrong address. Time to set up mail forwarding!
12/22/08- In at NYU!!! My sister visited me at work and brought the big purple envelope along with her :)
12/23/08- In at UChicago by email!
1/16/08- Got email from Michigan asking me to "please be patient" and saying that they've reviewed my file and were unable to come to decision- but not saying that I'm WL'd or put on hold or anything.. hmm...
On a happier note, also got email acceptance to Northwestern!
1/24/09- In at Columbia!!! Two big envelopes in the mail.
2/1/09- Withdrew from Georgetown and Cornell (where I was accepted but have decided not to attend) as well as UPenn and Michigan (where I was waitlisted and have decided not to wait it out)
2/25/09- Notified by email that I am a finalist for the IILJ Scholars program at NYU
3/9/09- Waitlisted at UVA.
3/10/09- Withdrew from UVA
3/30/09- Offered a place in the IILJ Scholar program at NYU!! Supposedly my financial aid offer will be arriving shortly, and then I have THREE DAYS to accept or decline it- ohhh dear
