Additional info & updates

Some of you may be wondering why I applied to some of these schools with my numbers. Well, I took the LSAT in December and submitted most of my applications before receiving my score. Obviously, I didn't do as well on the actual test as I had been doing on practice exams. (The moral of the story, kids, is this: The LSAT is somewhat important in this process.)

Other notes:

* I sent letters of interest to all of the schools at which I was waitlisted or "pended" (Fordham's word).

* Speaking of Fordham ... I maintain that I withdrew. However, Fordham may view it differently. I withdrew via e-mail on 05-10-06; Fordham sent me a rejection letter dated 05-10-06, but postmarked 05-12-06. Strange, no?

* Almost all of my decisions came via letter and the U.S. Postal Service. The lone exception was Ohio State, which called to let me know that I had been accepted.

* George Washington put me on its waiting list on 02-16-06; I was notified of my admission off the list via e-mail on 05-04-06.
