Additional info & updates

12/2/19
First acceptance of the cycle with full tuition from Miami! Received a phone call from the dean of admissions earlier today with the news. The call came just 4 hours after my application went complete too! Scholarship requires at least a 2.5 GPA to keep.

12/18/19
Got the call from the director of admissions at UF letting me know I was accepted with the Governor's Scholarship (full tuition). Wrote a Why UF in my application. Went UR on 12/10.

12/19/19
Received a call from FSU this morning letting me know that I was accepted with a 75% scholarship. I participated in the optional interview on 12/16 and went UR the day after.

Received an email from GW letting me know I was placed on the waitlist. Honestly a little disappointed because of the myLSN results for GW with my stats, but I suppose GW increasing their LSAT median from 165 to 166 might have been a big factor.

1/17/20
Got the email from Georgetown letting me know I was rejected. Not surprised at all by that. I did the top 10 optional statement but none of the other ones.

1/24/20
Received an email letting me know that there was an update to my Vanderbilt application and the waitlist letter was in my portal. I let them know that I am interested in remaining on the waitlist. Very pleased to still be in the running! I did the alumni interview on 12/10. I did not do the optional video that you can submit.

1/25/20
Picked up my Emory acceptance package from my mailbox earlier today. The date on my scholarship information letter is 1/23 so I set my decision date to that. My package contained a 28 page booklet with information about Emory as well as information about its Visiting Day and Preview Day. My scholarship letter also had a very sweet handwritten note on it from the associate dean that referenced my personal statement, which was very much appreciated by me! No changes to my OPUS account as of yet, so in other words, I got the acceptance packet in the mail before I saw the green deposit button.

2/28/20
Got the email from BU letting me know I was placed on the waitlist. I was expecting this, but it's good to hear from them officially.

--------------------------------------
And with that, my cycle is officially over! Not sure how many people have actually been reading these updates, but if you have, I hope you found them helpful in some way! Same goes to any applicants in future years that look at my profile. I'll be updating my profile to be more complete in terms of stats, demographics, softs, etc. once I officially deposit at a school, but in the meantime, feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions!

Edit: Officially made my deposit and have since updated my profile
