it's merit-based. i haven't filled out the form yet. LSDAS did give a GPA, but i'm not sure if the schools care, coz it's foreign.

yes, PRC citizen. it doesn't matter that much how many countrymen of yours are applying. it's a very minor parameter that would factor into your application, if at all. i don't think there's a quota for foreign students from any particular country. you simply compete with the whole applicants pool, is my take on the issue.
