ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

UPenn and UMich are my top two choices

Dec. 14 2017 - Duke waitlist *Not Priority Reserve

Dec. 19 2017- WUSTL interview invite

Jan. 08 2018 - WUSTL interview

-----------------------------------------
DUI and LSAC violation (not misconduct)

DUI - arrested 04/15, convicted 03/16

Addendum for LSAT violation cancellation
I was dismissed from June LSAT - Didn't do it!
I had hired a lawyer to fight this and LSAC did not budge.

I was lucky enough to have a member of the adcom to a state bar (not my state) look at my addendum and said it was good.

Immigrated to the US at age 10
LGBT, US Permanent Resident

Personal statement on personal obstacle -- not related to minority status and something most would consider pretty horrific.
Fairly short approx. 500 words.

Wrote Why X for Duke and UMich
Diversity statement to all schools
Socioeconomic disadvantage statement to NYU/UVA/UCLA.

Two LORs - One most definitely glowing enough that it'd blind you. Other I can only assume is pretty good; the recommender seemed very happy to do it and we've had a good relationship.

Do you have any advice for bringing up a score? Did you pay for a course or self study? Was the 171 your first try? Any of these answers would be great! I need about 15 points on my score at least on the low end that is!

I sent you a message on the LSAT! Figured that it'd reach you better. Hope it helps!
