After being admitted to Alabama I sent an introductory email to admissions laying out my financial concerns.

After visiting, I emailed directly and expressed my other offers. Two to three weeks later, I received a call aboout my offer. Top 40% stip.

Could not get the stips reduced, but got the offer bumped up by 3k total.

They were fabulous to work with and are the only school I negotiated with.

12/26- IU status checker changed to decision made
12/30 - received IU Acceptance and scholarship info in snail mail
1/02- W&L acceptance via email and status checker, no scholly info
1/10- pitt acceptance via status checker
1/15- Pitt scholly info in mail
1/16- W&L scholarship letter in mail
1/22- IU Indy acceptance via status checker
1/31- Alabama acceptance
2/3- iu Indy scholarship
2/25- offered to be flown out for Alabama open house March 1
3/5- iu scholars day
3/15- Alabama initial scholarship
3/25- Alabama revised offer
3/27- withdrew from Pitt, iu Indy
3/27- wait listed at Emory, withdrew
3/28 Received a scholarship bump to a full ride from IU Indy (withdrew anyway)
4/1-paid deposit at Alabama
4/6 Received a scholarship bump from IU, declined

Congrats on the Bama scholarship!!!!! That is so awesome! I bet you are absolutely beaming. Good luck in T-Town if that's where you end up!
