I teach elementary school in Washington DC. Are you still teaching, and if so where? Congrats on all your acceptances. Where do you think you will end up going to law school? You aren't seriously considering the U of U are you?
stxlax, I;m teaching 8th grade in the Bronx. While I love SLC skiing, I am holding out on my top choices. Hopefully they will get back to me with good news. Wish me luck!
Hey kidblue, I really miss the skiing too. I went once last year, but I haven't made it to Utah this year. I wish you the best of luck, and I stand firm in my prediction that you will get into either Harvard or Stanford. I wouldn't be too surprised if you got into Yale. I wonder if I met you at the TFA institute at Fordham in July of '03.
Did UMich fly you out to check out the school. I think the Darrow is hard to pass up. Where do you think you'll end up. BTW, I went and visited Michigan. I loved it, but I think I'll be at UVA.
I suspect other folks who got the same email from Yale listed themselves as "waitlisted" for the same reason I did: it comes closest to my actual status, which would be something like "going to be waitlisted or accepted in the next three weeks". And that's what it says: a decision by the end of the first week in May.
