Additional info & updates

11/9 Stetson University emailed acceptance with scholarship:
$37,000 per year

11/20 FSU left acceptance voicemail. 50% scholarship, more details will be in mail-in packet.

11/20 UF left note on ASO stating that they wanted to see my final fall transcripts before making a decision. Current status: Review in Progress

1/18 After sending fall transcript, under re-review for UF. Didn't know re-review was a thing..

2/23 UF indicated that it would be a very quick decision after I sent my transcripts, still waiting.

3/5 After sending an email months ago (which they never responded to), got waitlisted. No thanks!

3/8 On 3/5 I was pissed and withdrew from UF and accepted FSU. Got email from FSU Dean bumping up my scholarship to 75%. (totally made the right choice)

*My opinion, if you're interested*
Although both UF and FSU are great schools, if you are looking for kind, welcoming, and a community-like environment to deal with the stresses of law school, I would recommend FSU. They reached out to me countless times through current and past students, professors, and other faculty to ask if I had any questions or concerns. UF never responded to my emails, and kept me waiting for six months just to waitlist me (which is fair, my LSAT wasn't that high but there was no communication or reason why it took that long). Overall, I am happy with my decision!
