Additional info & updates

first gen, low income, URM
*all scholarships listed is the 3 year total

advice: APPLY EARLY!!! The biggest mistake I made was waiting so late to apply.

UConn
2/27: Received email with video announcing acceptance. Did not receive any scholarship $ so will be withdrawing.

GW
3/2: Emailed about being put on wait list. Will be withdrawing from waitlist.

Rutgers
3/8: Emailed about acceptance w/ scholarship briefly mentioned. States that more details to come in acceptance package that was mailed out.

Hofstra
3/9: Emailed about acceptance. Separate email sent about scholarship offer (full tuition). Not going to lie the full tuition part had me shook but it is conditional. Will probably negotiate to get rid of that part.

New York Law School
3/15: Email sent late afternoon. Received Dean's Scholar scholarship. Scholarship letter was sent right after acceptance and financial aid info sent the next day.

Emory
3/17: Emailed about wait list. Actually sad about this one. Low key really wanted to go :( Debating still if I should withdraw or ride out waitlist.

Temple
3/24: Got email about waitlist late afternoon.

Loyola Chicago
3/31: Accepted with scholarship through email.

St Johns
4/13: Wait listed through email.

4:15: Withdrew from UConn, Hofstra, NYLS, and Loyola. Deposited at Rutgers :) but will still hold on to waitlist positions for Temple and will be holding out hope for Howard (#1 choice)

4/15: Waitlisted at American. Will withdraw

4/21: Accepted into Brooklyn through email. Received merit scholarship of 17,000/year and diversity scholarship of 10,000/year. Barely does anything compared to COA. Def will negotiate

Still waiting on my number one tho :/
