For AU, does your online tracker say "complete" or does it still say "application received?" I sent mine the same day as yours and mine still says "application received". Thanks.

Mine still says "application received" as well! I am hoping AU is similar to Villanova & does not update the status tracker very often.

T20?

Hi Leyna! I just wanted to ask if there is any reason you aren't applying to t20 schools? With your numbers and URM status, I definitely think you should give it a shot (especially if you have fee waivers)! Our stats/background are similar; you can look at my profile to get an idea of the schools I'm reaching for.

Check out the admission graphs on mylsn.info to get an idea of which top schools you might have a better chance at (if interested).

t20?

Hello! I am trying extremely hard to be in as little debt as possible when I leave law school, so that is why I did not try at t20 schools. My main area of interest is criminal law with the goal of being a PD, (I don't have a regional preference ~ I would be happy to move anywhere) so I'm just trying to get really solid scholarships. I am not confident in the scholarship offers I would get (if I would get any at all) at most t20 schools since I would be below their LSAT median. My reach school was Washington, but that didn't turn out so well...

MN?

Congrats - very successful application round. Why do you say Washington was your biggest reach when MN is the higher ranked school. Even at the same cost, most would go to MN and you got into MN with $35k/year! I'd think even at the $17k/year it would cost you it's better to go there over Villanova on a full ride, but try to negotiate! Let them know as it stands you'll attend Villanova on a full ride and can they reconsider your scholarship. One e-mail can very possibly get you a $5k/year bump. Then at $12k/year you really should consider MN over Villanova.

Hello! I thought Washington was my biggest reach based on their numbers/past data. I knew I had a fairly good shot at MN, but honestly did not think that any $$$ would come my way. I chose Villanova based on my visit (which was awesome) and because I have undergrad debt and will be using loans for living. The COL + COA from MN would be far greater than just the COL for Villanova. All of this plus the extremely good opportunities to work at the Philly PD office during the semester, Villanova was just too good of a fit for me to pass up right now!
