Additional info & updates

Well it looks like my cycle is essentially complete and I plan to attend Tulane. Tulane was pretty much my first choice going into the application process, but I decided to cast a wide net to see what kind of scholarship offers I might receive. In the end, I got the best offer from my top choice - Tulane.

I felt that I had pretty good softs and wrote a nice admissions essay... however in the end my cycle came out right where my "numbers" suggested I would. Long story short - go for some reach schools, but I wouldn't expect your softs to make up for a poor LSAT or GPA.

I also think this year was a particularly difficult cycle for admissions. I know applications were up 25-30% at several of the schools I applied. I think in other years many of the waitlists would have been acceptances instead.
