I suspect a combination of attending a non-prestigious undergrad and minor C&F issues. I also have family attending UVA, briefly lived in C-Ville, and had a very strong interest in attending.

What were the c&f issues, in brief? Only reason I ask is it seems you have severely underperformed in your cycle.
