Figure I'll update now that I've finished my cycle, for posterity. Took the LSAT twice and reapplied, which was a really good choice.

Softs: Did a MA in Europe (all coursework completed in French) on a fellowship similar to a Fulbright. Some work experience in legal and non-legal fields (during summers and part-time during my MA studies). Limited leadership stuff (mock trial, campus advocacy group, etc).

I applied mid-cycle, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, largely due to the headaches of applying from abroad and due to taking the October LSAT.
