Additional info & updates

*** scholarships in total amount

2/3: Accepted William Mitchell. I am pleasantly surprised with their scholarship offer. I have a hard time seeing this amount offered at my other prospective schools.

2/17: Accepted at St. Thomas with significantly smaller scholarship offer. If it were close to W.M.'s I probably would have chosen St. Thomas, but this kind of solidifies that debate. W.M. in the lead!

2/25: Accepted at Hamline and Marquette. Nice scholarship offer to Hamline, but their terms suggest that they are anxious to yank it. Marquette looks like a cool school, especially with the new building. However, the acceptance suggested nothing about scholarships. With the W.M. offer, 32k/yr is a little ridiculous considering I would choose Minneapolis over Milwaukee any day.

The wait list from Quinnipiac is bewildering. I only applied because a fee waiver and the campus looked pretty. I would not attempt to enter the competitive east coast market with a third-tier degree. Nevertheless, I definitely assumed I would get accepted. Furthermore, I thought I would at least get some $. Whatever I guess... I did see on another profile that someone got wait listed also, but got into Southern Methodist. Riddle me this Quinnipiac? I won't take this too personal.

3/5: Accepted into Drake with a generous scholarship offer. I hold Drake in high esteem, but the financial incentive just does not make up for its drawbacks.

In addition, I received a small scholarship offer from Marquette. I appreciate it, but it amounts to little consequence in my decision.

3/9: Waitlisted at both Missouri and Loyola. This is a little disappointing. I was definitely interested in Loyola. We'll see what happens.

3/16: Accepted into Kansas the other day. This is the highest ranked school I have been accepted to. I'll definitely have to wait to see what some of the other schools decide. Either way, this school is towards the top of my list.
