1/14 - received acceptance letter (e-mail) from UGA.

1/21 - received scholarship email from uga, 5,000 per year

2/12 - attended visit/tour with Emory admissions, they handed me acceptance letter with scholarship info. Admissions package arrived same day via USPS. Letter dated Feb 3.

2/12 - Georgetown request for alumni interview

2/29 - U of Michigan rejected via status checker and USPS mail - not really a surprise

3/4 - Penn Law rejected via e-mail - not really a surprise

3/9 - NYU rejected via e-mail - again, not really a surprise

3/10 - UVA waitlist via e-mail - pleasantly surprised!

3/18 - Duke rejected via e-mail - another non-surprise

3/18 - Georgetown rejected via e-mail - a little bummed about this one as I thought I had a decent chance of getting in here

4/22 - Update just to say that I've decided to attend Emory, and also to say that I *still* haven't heard back from Northwestern. I expect a waitlist or deny from them, but it's curious that they're taking so long with so many applications.
