Rejected at UDC, honestly surprised based off of the numbers they were looking for, that being said not a school I would have attended without a huge financial aid offer.
I have made some calls to UDM now to try and figure out the financial situation there (no scholarship was offered with my acceptance information). I refuse to believe that my other schools have made solid offers only to have UDM offer zero.
3/15/12 - Second Update
Accepted at University of Detroit! The online status checker changed to "Please Call Admissions Counselor" which I assumed was good news, but obviously there is some fear until one actually hears the news. Official letter is being placed into the mail with scholarship information. I certainly know this one excites the parents as they want me to stay closer to home.

My file went complete for UDC today. I would imagine I will hear within a week or two from them. Always happy to know that the process is moving along. Anxious to hear from the last schools so that I can make a final decision and start to prep for school.

Still early in the day here, but thought I would share a few random thoughts. UDM has really been slow through this process and when in comparison to the other schools. They went totally complete (after requesting some supplemental info) on February 17, yet I havent heard anything at all in over 3 weeks. Meanwhile other schools go complete and get in answer in less than 2 weeks. I am not sure what to think of UDC as my file still hasnt changed since February 27 (Application received) no note about the file going complete or going to committee for review.

Accepted at John Marshall-Chicago. Received an email around 4:30pm from the Dean. Will await formal acceptance and scholarship info in the mail. Very excited about this schooll, though it certainly isnt cheap at all.

Went "complete" at John Marshall -Chicago. They seem to be averaging about 2 weeks on their decisions, so just wait and see. Im surprised that UoD-Mercy is taking so long.
3/2/12 - Second Update
Received my formal acceptance from John Marshall - Atlanta and a good bit of information including their scholarship offer of roughly $9,000! Again, not earth shattering, but it puts the school into the serious consideration category.
3/2/12
Received emails from DC, Hofstra today that apps have been accepted and pending. Got my email from John Marshall - Chicago the same day I sent in the app, not sure why it took the other two schools a few days to acknowledge they even got the app. No big deal. Fingers really crossed on Chicago, starting really like the idea of living there.
3/1/12
Received an email from Regent University stating that I have been awarded the "Deans Scholarship" which is a little over $5,000. Not huge, but it sure helps.

Rejection at Wayne State via the online status checker. So anti-climactic to go to see if there are any changes just to get slapped down. I am disappointed but not surprised based on my numbers.
2/27/12
Decided to push through a few more apps. I applied to John Marshall - Chicago, Hofstra and The University of the District of Columbia. Having my LOR's in and my personal statement completed made getting the apps in a breeze. Now onto the fingers crossed part of the process.

Great day! Got my first acceptance from John Marshall - Atlanta. I received an email from the Student Bar first, followed by an email from the admissions department. Then about an hour later I received an email from Regent University for another acceptance. The online status checker looks so happy with the "Congratulations You are Admitted."

Rejection from Thomas Cooley - I find it borderline comical. The school is second rate at best, yet they will hold my prior indiscretion against me. My numbers were more than solid enough to get a 60% scholarship. Go figure. In some ways a good thing, Cooley (with the scholarship) becomes so affordable that turning it down would be tough even though I have almost no real interest in attending. Their rejection letter (which is borderline rude) will be framed and saved as motivation.

Went officially complete at the University of Detroit Mercy. I had to send in some follow-up information about my prior indiscretion. Always so sad that such a simple mistake from over 7 years ago becomes such a big deal.

"Decision Reached" at Cooley. Of course now I just have to sit and wait for their letter.
2/7/12
Applications sent into: Wayne State, University of Detroit, Thomas Cooley, John Marshall - Atlanta and Regent University. Its a random mix of schools admittedly, but part of it is the ability to apply for free or the fact that I have friends near the campus.
