Congrats on UVA! I'm guessing the complete date is incorrect?

Thank you (NumbersLie)

Thank you. And no it's not...my second LOR wasn't submitted to LSAC until the 31st, even though my applications had been submitted weeks prior. So that is the correct completed date.

Retake! Please, as a fellow URM, dont waste that GPA! Take a year off, study harder for the lsat. Getting a 165 would get you into harvard. It would also give you a change at a ruby or hammy and atleast one t14 full ride. If you dont get a full ride to a t14 this cycle, sit out, retake, and apply again. A year may feel like alot today, but youll be thankful for it for the rest of your life. If you got a 158 you can get a 165 with a little more studying. 300k of debt is no joke.

Thank you (ahood231)

Thanks! I'm kind of disappointed they only gave me 19K a year, I'm going to see if I can negotiate up

I thought about retaking the LSAT when I got my score over the summer, but I knew my GPA and softs would help me. I've already been accepted in UVA which was a stretch and I know I can negotiate large packages from schools. I'm not really interested in big law or anything like that. I have a specific field I want to pursue (sports law) so T14 schools really aren't what I'm striving for. I know crazy right. I'm ecstatic with UVA and I'm interested on how the rest of my cycle will turn out. So I'm not planning on retaking the LSAT. The debt isn't going to be a lot for me because I'm leaving undergrad with $0 debt and have a year's worth of tuition saved up. Thanks for the advice though and good luck on this cycle!
