Extra Curricular Information

A few clubs, unimpressive fellowship at school, only thing of any real merit I think is that I've interned at a couple top BB investment banks, one in their IBD, another in S&T (wanted to try both before deciding finance wasn't my thing).

I did however have a very specific story for why I wanted to go law school that incorporated these internships, a few others, and some of my coursework.

Additional info & updates

Took the LSAT once. Transferred from another top 15 to my current school (which accounts for the difference in LSDAS and degree GPA; one school I applied to asked after I was under review for an explanation of my transferring).

When I applied I had a 3.78. Got in to Duke, Cornell, and NYU with before LSAC received my updated transcript. Had a fall grades request from Columbia for ED, had a 4.0 fall semester so a little disappointed to be deferred after that.

At Duke I was admitted to the JD/MA Economics program, notified by email for the JD, and in the official acceptance packet for the MA.

Additional Note: Be conscious of study abroad grades. I had read before I went that my grades wouldn't be counted for LSDAS. It turns out that because the school I went to is considered a US school abroad (accredited as a US school), my 3.6 semester GPA does count, pulling my overall down by about .05, not tragic, but not great.
