Very little that stands out. I've done some work with the county attorney's office and a local civil litigation firm and I've received college mock trial accolades including an all-american attorney award, but that's about it.

Additional info & updates

2-18-11: I've decided to actively update this with information as it comes in. This cycle has been an exercise in reaches for the most part since I'm deferred at Memphis for the coming year. After having a phone interview with W&L I was admitted off of the waitlist and that's currently where I'm looking at attending, but we'll see where the cycle takes me =).

2-21-11: Waitlisted at Cardozo. It would have taken a fairly substantial scholly for me to have attended over W&L anyway, but getting the ole soft reject is never fun.

2-24-11: In at Georgia! Top 30 has been cracked =). This makes my decision substantially more difficult, but having options in tier 1 isn't something that I'm going to complain about!.

3-05-11: Waitlist at IU-Bloomington. If you asked me when I applied, I would have said that I thought I had a decent shot, but given the amount of time that elapsed I knew that the waitlist was inevitable.

3-11-11: Waitlist from Tennessee. A bit surprised about this one.

3-11-11 part 2: In review at WashU. I've visited their campus and can say definitively that this is my number 1 choice. Hopefully I can get a little lucky and come out with a seat!

3-15-11: Waitlisted at William and Mary. Not surprised.

3-22-11: Waitlisted at Emory. Yawn

03-28-11: Rejected at WashU. =(. That said, this cycle, with the exception of UTK and Stetson was intended as a chance to see what mid tier 1 options I would have relative to in-state at the University of Memphis, and I'd say that the results are quite good given my numbers. Now I face a fairly difficult choice between W&L and UGA.

4-26-11: Attending UGA in the fall!

I had a few friends who did powerscore and I took multiple past tests with them in a proctored setting. I found it to be an effective way to prepare. Having spoken with my friends about it, they found that the only real benefit of the course was the access to the past tests. Good luck with your cycle next year!
