Rejected by Penn State Law-State College on 2/20 via email.

If you're interested in staying in PA, I'd look into going there. Really going up in the rankings and really good bar passage rates

I'm wondering how you received a scholarship after being admitted off the waitlist at Duquesne? Do you believe the wording of your letter of continued interest helped?

Well I think a couple things came into play. My LSAT was still above their median, one of my LORs came from my law firm's managing partner who is a Duquesne law grad, and I sent in two LOCIs- one when I got waitlisted in march and an updated one at the beginning of May. I made sure I let them know that Duq was my #1 choice so that may have helped as well.
