05-13-10 Harvard rejected me today. No surprise there, and I actually feel relieved to FINALLY have a decision from them. I'm so excited to be a Cavalier next year!!!

04-28-10 Northwestern just accepted me. I'm feeling strangely homesick and am entertaining the thought more than I thought I would...

04-26-10 Cornell just accepted me. Crazy. I was not expecting that at all. Let's see if they offer me any $, otherwise I'm still set on UVA.

04-11-10 I attended the Admitted Students Weekend at UVA, and I'm in love. I paid the deposit and signed a lease. I'll be in C'ville next fall!

04-01-10 Waitlisted at Penn via email.

03-31-10 Waitlisted at Duke via email. NBD. I'm getting more and more excited for UVA next year!

03-25-10 Held at Northwestern via email. I guess I must continue to be patient...

03-20-10 In at Notre Dame with $20k per year in a big envelope. I feel flattered, but I will withdraw my application. UVA is my first choice unless Harvard comes through.

03-19-10 $10k scholarship at UVA. So exciting!

03-11-10 Rejected at Berkeley via email. I have a feeling that I'll be seeing a lot more rejections this late in the cycle. Oh, well.

2-25-10 Decision rendered at Georgetown. Now the waiting game begins. Please let me find the admittance letter personally signed by Andy Cornblatt in my mailbox tomorrow!

2-22-10 Large envelope from George Washington when I arrived home. It also contained an offer for the Merit Scholarship. Many of my friends went to GW for their Masters and loved it, but I'm not sure it's the right fit for me. The $ is def enticing, tho, and GW is in the same city as my top choice--Georgetown.

2-11-10 Last night, I received an email from the Dean of Admissions at U Va to call him about my app. I called him back this morning, and he gave me good news. I'm in!

2-8-10 Skinny envelope from USC. I'm in!

2-5-10 Interview with Georgetown Law alum. I wasn't expecting her to ask tough questions, but she did. Nevertheless, I think the interview went well even if it wasn't the friendly chat I was expecting.

2-3-10 The Dean of Admissions for UCLA Law called me while I was at dinner. I'm in!
