12/7 - Finally turned in most of my apps. Not expecting to hear anything until after the holiday break.

12/18 - Phone Call from Minnesota - in! Nice to hear so quickly.

1/12 - In at NYU?!? I've been away from home since December 21, so I didn't get the packet, but I received a email addressed to "admitted student" congratulating me again. Hooray!

1/17 - Arrived home to see the purple envelope from NYU. Makes it feel more real. Also an offer of $20k per year from Minnesota.

Well...we have identical LSATs, same GPA, both went Ivy, similar majors, both out of school for a bunch of years, and both taught in under-privileged communities. Good luck!!! (...to both of us)
