Additional info & updates

All scholarships are three year totals.

11/27: Admitted to John Marshall with 60,000 over three years. Top 1/3 stip.

11/29: Admitted to Northern Illinois. No scholarship information.

12/6: Admitted to DePaul. Scholarship information came 12/15 in admissions packet (45,000 over three years no stipulation).

12/12: Admitted to Southern Illinois University, $18,000 scholarship; 2.8 stip.

12/20: admitted to Chapman with a 22,000 scholarship. 3.0 stipulation. Disclaimer says 107 incoming in 11 got conditional scholarships and 70 lost them. Kind of makes me nervous.

1/9: admitted to Loyola Chicago. Scholarship info comes out in February.

1/23: Waitlisted at Illinois. I wasn't happy, but I also wasn't surprised. Depending on which numbers you look at, I'm right at the 25% for LSAT. I have solid softs that should help, I think.

1/25: Admitted to Chicago Kent with 20,000 a year, no stipulations. I still need to visit, but this one has jumped significantly on my list.

2/1: Admitted to La Verne.

3/12: Loyola scholarship of 10k/year, guaranteed for three years. Terrible scholarship compared to my others.

3/14: Withdrew from DePaul due to low scholarship and no negotiation policy. Also, they fell to the third tier. Also withdrew from Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois and John Marshall. Also from LaVerne and Chapman.

3/25: Got updated scholarship from JMLS for $25,000 a year, still with the top third stipulation.

3/30: Cycle over. Decided based on visit, scholarship, employment stats and rankings that Chicago-Kent is where I'll be spending the next three years.
