Additional info & updates

I think I can attribute much of the success of my cycle to my personal statement. I was able to weave all of my experiences (internships, major) into a coherent story of why I want to practice law. I made many revisions and got a lot of feedback from friends.

I also think that the prestige of my undergraduate university and my major had a larger impact on admissions than many on TLS seem to think.

All of the numbers, scholarships, and dates in my profile are accurate.

-NYU rejected scholarship increase
-Chicago scholarship raised from 30k to 45k on 4/28
-Penn never gave me a scholarship - didn't matter because my gf had no Philly options

4/29 - Cycle Over, decided on Chicago due to my significant other's options in the city. Chicago was my favorite visit anyway. The 75k difference compared to NU was significant, but I prefer the job security provided at Chicago since I am k-jd.

I honestly hope this profile helps those who follow me. I wish I had started negotiating earlier instead of waiting on all of my scholarships to arrive. Still, I am satisfied with the outcome.
