Have worked for a small law firm since 2012, shortly after graduation.

Update 1/28/13: I was notified by SMU that my application is being held for further review. I should receive a decision by late spring.

Update 4/29/13: I decided in about January that if I was accepted in St. Mary's University, because I live in the San Antonio area, because it is close to my hometown, and because I hope to practice law in South Texas, that I would attend for those reasons. I Paid the deposit in April, and stopped checking on my other applications. Just received notification from Texas Tech that I was rejected, and SMU put me on the wait list. I withdrew my application from SMU and I'm very excited to not have to move in the fall. I look forward to starting law school in August here at St. Mary's :)

I bet you get in at St Mary's and maybe even Tech. Don't listen to all the noise.

Thanks for the encouragement. I submitted all of my applications before taking my LSAT. I scored significantly lower on my test than on all my practice tests. I'm afraid I'm just not an awesome test taker sometimes. Not really expecting to get into the big schools, but I would be perfectly happy with attending St. Mary's.

I have similar numbers as yours and I'm hoping to get into Tech(reach school) but like you I'd be happy with St. Mary's. Good luck, hope you get in to the rest of the schools you applied to.

Continued best of luck at SMU and TT. I think it really is a good sign that you've been WL so early in the cycle at TT. If we both end up going to St Mary's, I hope to see you there.
