Additional info & updates

(Scholarships listed in full amount, not yearly)

2/1 - I got my first acceptance via email from Cal Western! Also awarded the Diversity Scholarship. First year tuition covered unconditionally, second and third covered if I maintain a 2.67 (B/B- average at Cal Western)

2/9 - In at Chapman via email. Got a call later in the day from an assistant dean offering me an 80% scholarship, dependent on maintaining a 2.9.

2/11 - In at USD via email, then scholarship offer in a separate email.

2/27 - In at Loyola via email. Email says I'll receive my full "admit packet" in the mail within a week, which I'm hoping will include scholarship info.

2/29 - In at Hastings! (via email) Awarded some scholarship money as well, which I am going to try to negotiate higher. Also got my full packet from Loyola and they offered me $102,000 (about 70%).

3/3 - In at USF via email. Offered $34/year, renewable if I maintain a 2.4.

3/12 - Got an email from a professor at Santa Clara congratulating me on being admitted. Odd that a professor reached out before Admissions did, but I've heard of that happening. Scholarship info to come in the mail.

3/18 - Received my Santa Clara packet in the mail, including scholarship info. They offered me $30K/year, dependent on maintaining a 2.4.

3/21 - Got waitlisted at UC Irvine via snail mail. The letter was dated March 15.

3/29 - I shockingly got an email today that I was waitlisted at UCLA! I considered myself a definite rejection so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Congratulations!! I also received a scholarship offer from Chapman and I am wondering if your email regarding that mentioned needing to maintain a higher GPA in 2nd and 3rd year? I haven't gotten any more official than an email from Admissions saying I got 100% scholarship, so no details yet.

Chapman's is dependent on maintaining a 2.9 GPA in the 2nd & 3rd year. I got the acceptance via email, then a phone call a few hours later from one of the deans in which he told me about the scholarship. I got the "official" scholarship offer and the details in the mail a few days later.
