Additional info & updates

I never worked hard enough as an undergrad and slid by with just a 2.79 at the University of Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a great school, and I worked nearly full-time while attending school. I'm hoping that's worth something.

The plan right now is to just get in somewhere. It's foolish, but once I'm in I plan on working incredibly hard so I can transfer after a year. Obviously nobody advises me to do this, most of the people who know of this plan think I'm a complete fool.

Unfortunately, it's my only option right now.

2/2/09 - Yikes. I was starting to get nervous. My acceptance to St. Thomas Florida just arrived today. Miami sounds pretty good in the middle of this Wisconsin winter.

2/15/09 - Just received word that Thomas Jefferson is deferring their decision until at least the beginning of June. As this was my top choice for schools, I'm a bit upset. Especially since my decision deadline at St. Thomas is April 15. As far as Barry, I'm not too concerned that they deferred me. I'd much prefer St. Thomas to Barry, so I'd have been content with even a denial.

3/3/09 - Thomas Cooley finally got me their decision. I was denied at the only school that I knew would accept me. They cited my recent legal history as reason to deny me, but encouraged me to reapply in two years. Right. Screw them, at least I'm in somewhere.

5/1/09 - I will be attending St. Thomas in Florida this fall. I plan on transferring after a year.
